French Toast

Two pieces of French Toast
One egg
Two tablespoons milk
One tablespoon sugar (if you are not using syrup over the top of the cooked french toast)
Butter
Beat egg and milk together in a small bowl. Melt a small amount of butter in skillet then dip bread into the egg mixture and coat on both sides of bread. Place in skillet and cook until browned on both sides. If you did not add sugar to the mixture then pour syrup over toast or spread with jelly.
